Sentences and Syntactic Styles on Usama Ibn Munqidh's Poetry
Semantic Grammatical Study
This study employs the Diwans of Usama Ibn Munqidh for gram- matical purposes. It investigates the grammatical
structure as an element of the poetic construction combined with other elements to fulfill the denotative meaning and
poetic purpose. It addresses the sentence structure, whether in line with applicable grammatical rules or admitting
latitude by the poet. It tackles simple and com-pound sentences and other linguistic feature and syntactic styles and
their denotative significance in the poetry of poet.
